I started on the icons for our communication bar. They are very rough but what do you think? The possibly could be smaller so we can fit more, they are probably gigantic in real size.

WHAT IF... at the Science Gallery 2009

What If.. Exhibition at the Dublin Science Gallery

http://www.dunneandraby.co.uk/content/bydandr/496/0

Links from both Dunne and Raby and the Dublin Sciency Gallery websites about the recent exhibition called "What If.." curated by London based designers Anthony Dunne and Fiona Raby. The exhibition, held in the Dublin Science Gallery, explored how machines and humans interact, and questioned things like, what might happen in a society where machines can read your every emotion.

Dunne and Raby are also interesting also in their older work as they explored the relationships between humans in objects in their work like the "nipple chair" (pictured below) where they created a chair that responded to the electro magnetic waves around them. The idea was that the user was made aware of the electromagnetic world present around us all the time.

Interesting piece of product design by Phelan Miller. This school desk is an interactive table for two students. It makes studing less boring and more fun! Wish I had one of those back in Primary School days. Beats the boring chalk board and cheap copybooks.
